The Casale 120 picnic experience is a self-paced journey designed for wine-enthusiasts and travelers who seek more than a structured tour. It is an invitation to slow down and immerse yourself in the authentic Sicilian landscape. Ideally situated on the Etna Wine Road in Castiglione di Sicilia, just outside of Linguaglossa along the main road to Randazzo, Casale 120 is easily reached. Upon arrival at our estate in Contrada Picciolo, the owners will welcome you with a glass of estate wine to set the mood. From there, the pace is entirely yours. Armed with a basket of Sicilian delicacies, wander through our historic vineyards at your own leisure. Settle into one of our shaded or sunny picnic spots: from a romantic corner under a shady fruit tree, a scenic spot higher up with mountain views, or venture even a walk to discover a hidden lava cave. Families can opt for a safe, kids-friendly area near the ping-pong table, providing plenty of room to run so children can play freely in nature while you relax. Choose from a variety of shaded or sunny picnic spots across the estate. You might settle into a romantic hideaway nestled under a fruit tree or select a scenic lookout offering panoramic volcano views. For those looking to explore, venture on a short hike to discover the secrets of our hidden natural lava cave. Before setting out, choose a bottle of Etna Bianco or Etna Rosso from our cellar to perfectly accompany your picnic (ordered separately).
